Don’t know where to start & want me to walk your senior through the college application essay writing process? This bootcamp is for you! We will begin the week by considering the Common App prompt options & finish with a revised essay!
Coaching students through the college essay writing process has been one of the highlights of Calli’s career, as it offers students the opportunity to look back at their growth while dreaming for the future. When approached with hopeful determination, writing the college essay can provide seniors with a rich, meaningful experience.

Parent & Student Testimonials:
“I’d always wanted my student to take a class with Calli, and the College Essay Bootcamp presented the perfect opportunity. Because my daughter resisted the process, I could not have been more surprised by her response. Two days into camp, she plopped down in front of me and excitedly shared her essay idea. When I read her work at the end of the week, I was amazed by its beauty and transparency. Calli took what my student considered a chore for college entry and turned it into a formational process that allowed her to reflect meaningfully on her life. What a gift! If that hadn’t been enough, my daughter also received a great scholarship to her dream college—who knows how her essay contributed to that result? SO grateful for someone like Calli who is so professional, so gifted, and clearly loves her students so much!”
— Lisa Castello, Mother of Recent Graduate
“Ms. Birch is one of the kindest people I know. She helped me through the long and arduous college application process, with essay idea generation, feedback, and revision. This support led me to be accepted by Purdue, Richmond University, and others.”
— Kai Hu, Purdue Student
“Not only was this class fun and engaging, but I have never felt more confident about my application! Thank you, Ms. Birch.”
